On September 15th, the most important step in our construction process was reached–financing for the Arena was closed with Bangor Savings Bank, CEI, Inc. and Greater Portland Council of Governments. To see a time lapse of Weeks 2 & # of the construction project, click below:
With the closing of the construction loan, the foundation work can begin, and the rink systems will be installed. The pre-engineered steel building has also been ordered and will be delivered for construction on October 13th.
But, there is a caveat.
We presently have a gap of $150,000 necessary to complete the Arena. If we do not raise this money, we cannot complete the Arena. We desperately need additional pledges and donations.
