It is with a heavy heart that we must pass along news of the passing of Chris Prinn. It is in times of tragedy that we find comfort in the bonds fostered by the game of hockey. His wife, Jenny, and sons, Oliver and Atticus, know that the Casco Bay Family will always be there to support them.

As a Casco Bay Player, Coach, and Board Member, Chris touched so many lives. A star player for Casco Bay and Yarmouth High School, Chris was the rare person who was not only a great athlete, but also an accomplished artist who designed the Casco Bay logo featured on every jersey. His passing will leave a hole in our hearts, but we will remember Chris Prinn every time a player pulls on a Casco Bay jersey.

We all have so many great memories of our times together. Chris’ old Casco Bay teammates will recall the glories of their youth, the players he coached will remember his kindness, and his friends will recollect all of the good times we had together both playing hockey and telling stories in the locker room. We will miss him and try to always remember the happy times. Casco Bay Hockey will not be the same without Chris Prinn.
We will be planning events at the Arena to honor and remember Chris once Covid restrictions are eased.
