The Opening Round of the Junior Varsity League at Casco Bay Arena is winding down and the final spots in the Adams Division (Group A) are up for grabs. Undefeated Falmouth has clinched first-place and in the final games of the Opening Round, Mt. Ararat, Cape Elizabeth, St. Dom’s, and Cheverus are vying for the remaining three spots.

In this Friday’s games, a loss by any of these teams, with the exception of Mt. Ararat, will likely drop them into the Norris Division (Group B) to join Windham/Westbrook, Portland/Deering, and Yarmouth.
In head-to-head games, Cape holds the tie-breaker over St. Dom’s, Mt. Ararat is over Cape, and Cheverus holds the tie-breaker over Mt. Ararat and Cape. St. Dom’s and Cheverus tied in their only meeting.
For all of these teams, this Friday’s contests are must-win games.
