In a few days, the Opening Game  will be held at the Casco Bay Arena, but our work is not done.  Because of their commitment to Casco Bay Hockey, two families, who wish to remain anonymous, posted $100,000 in an escrow account against future fund-raising to guarantee that we could fully complete the Arena.

We have paid back $30,000 through recent fundraising, but we still have $70,000 outstanding.  To raise this remaining amount and to ensure the financial viability of the Arena, we are asking Casco Bay families to make a donation pledge over the next three years.  Any amount helps.

On January 1, 2016 we will finalize our rink plaque listing all of the donors to the Arena.  We will aggregate any pledges for listing on the Arena plaque.  For instance, if you donated $125 in 2014 and pledge $125 for the next three years (2015-17), your aggregate donation would be $500 and you would be recognized in the Founders category ($500+).

The giving categories are as follows:

  • Gold Medal Donors ($10,000+)
  • Silver Medal Donors ($5,000+)
  • Bronze Medal Donors ($2,000+)
  • Founders ($500+)
  • Donors (any amount)

Any team that has 100% participation in our Pledge Drive will have their team photo placed on a locker room wall in perpetuity, along with past Casco Bay teams that featured the likes of Travis Roy, Doug Friedman, Eric Fenton, and the Hart Brothers.

To jump-start the Pledge Drive, Norman, Hanson & DeTroy has pledged an additional $10,000 for an aggregate donation of $20,000.  With your help, we can complete the final step of paying back the families that made completion of this Arena possible.

Thank you for your support.   Please see your Team Administrator to make your pledge or you may contact use directly by using the message box below
