After back-to-back, sudden-death wins in the opening playoff games, Falmouth cruised to an impressive 3-0 victory over Brunswick to take home the Andre Casavant Memorial Cup. Falmouth goaltender Dan Rawding picked up the shutout in net and posted an impressive 0.67 goals against average in the playoffs.
The win was especially poignant for Falmouth as the Cup was given in memory of Andre Casavant, a Falmouth resident and beloved Casco Bay coach. Falmouth last won the Junior Varsity Championship in 2020 when Andre’s son, Drew Casavant, led Falmouth to victory.
