The Junior Varsity season concluded with two close contests as #7 Falmouth upset #1 Cape Elizabeth when a goal with 33 seconds left in the contest broke a 2-2 tie and #9 Maranacook needed less than a minute of overtime to eke out a 2-1 victory of #8 Biddeford.
For the Casavant Family, the win was special as Andre Casavant’s son, Falmouth Captain Drew Casavant, accepted the Cup while his mother Terrie looked on. Andre Casavant was a beloved Casco Bay Hockey Coach and we are proud to honor his memory with the Cup.
