Please join us tomorrow for the Inaugural Casco Bay Hockey 5K & Block Party to kick off the hockey season. The following are some important updates from Casco Bay Hockey Association.
Race Updates1) It’s going to be a blast and you don’t want to miss it!! There is still time to register online (Click here to register!) We have some really amazing prizes, including Garmin watches, special race mugs, Dunkin Donuts GC’s, Play it Again Sports Goodies Baskets, Pizza Skating parties and so much more!! 2) If you didn’t come to packet pick up last night you can pick up your bib and race packet/swag bag between 7:30 and 8:30 am Saturday – no check ins will be accepted after 8:30. If possible please either print out or pull your race registration bar code up on your phone, this will save you time at check in! 3) Same day registration will be open starting at 7:30am and will be ending promptly at 8:30. Note that only cash or local checks will be accepted on race day. 4) Due to the roads being open (though the entire course is being stationed by the FPD) we can allow NO Strollers or pets on the course. 5) The block party is open 8am-11am with some great vendors, food and fun. We will have raffles and competitions so throw some cash in your shoe. 6) Race parking will be at Family Ice Center, behind the movie theatre and into that complex. NO parking in the CBA lot at all as this will be blocked off for the race. 7) Volunteers are still needed so if you dont plan to race – sign up to help out! Note that there will be police at every intersection, mile markers as you go, and a water stop roughly halfway through on Merrill Road.
