Our first week of operations are complete, and Casco Bay Hockey and the Arena have made some changes to our Pick-up & Pond Hockey programs.
- All Pick-up & Pond Hockey sessions during normal Casco Bay hours are free for registered Casco Bay players. Players will still need to sign up on-line, but there will be no charge for the ice session. Our goal is to ensure that as many players as possible take advantage of these sessions.
- Pick-up & Pond Hockey sessions on holidays, vacation days, and snow days will cost $10 or two CBCard punches.
- Players may still drop-in for pick-up & pond hockey sessions, but signing up on-line will guarantee a spot on the ice.
- Players registered with USA Hockey, but not playing for a Casco Bay team may play, but will be charged two CBCard punches or $10 cash.
- After December 15, 2015, CBCards will be the only accepted form of payment. Non-Casco Bay players must provide proof of USA Hockey registration.
- Due to insurance issues, all adult pick-up and pond hockey sessions will be limited to players registered with USA Hockey. All coaches are already registered with USA Hockey, and most adult leagues require USA Hockey registration. If any parent is not registered with USA Hockey and wishes to skate, Casco Bay Arena will provide a $25 CBCard and their first skate will be free upon proof of registration to help defray the cost of USA Hockey membership.
